The Diamond Weave Open Manufacturing Network
Diamond Weave creates manufacturers.
One protected structural platform. An open network of businesses manufacturing the components that turn it into locally appropriate shelter.
Diamond Weave does not standardise the finished architecture. It standardises the relationships through which architecture can be manufactured.

The proposition
Not one enormous factory.
Diamond Weave is not intended to manufacture every part of every home in one place.
Its large, precision-manufactured shell components simplify the primary structure. Around that protected core, defined interfaces allow other businesses to produce compatible walls, ceilings, floors, bathrooms, benchtops, openings, services and finishes.
Some participants will be major manufacturers. Others will be regional workshops, specialist fabricators, family businesses or emerging manufacturers previously locked out of production at scale.
You do not need to manufacture the entire house. You need to contribute something valuable, repeatable and compatible.
How openness works
A protected core. Open participation.
The Diamond Weave invention remains protected. The surrounding manufacturing economy is designed to grow.
01
Protected structure
The structural shell, critical connections and original inventions remain controlled so the system can be engineered, certified and trusted.
03
Open participation
Businesses can enter at the level suited to their equipment, skills, materials and location—from national production to specialist local craft.
02
Shared interfaces
Approved dimensional relationships, connection zones and performance requirements allow compatible products to be developed.
04
Verified compatibility
Products are tested and approved according to their risk. Openness creates opportunity; standards protect the network and the homeowner.
Manufacturing opportunities
What could your business make?
The network is organised around component families—not one compulsory supplier and not one identical answer.
DW Structure
Shells, foundation stones, central supports, connections and future structural flooring—manufactured under controlled engineering and quality systems.
DW Floor
Future bearers, joists and floor panels developed specifically for the shell platform and suited to established or regional manufacturers.
DW Wet
Complete or substantially completed bathrooms, laundries and service cores with coordinated plumbing, waterproofing, fixtures and finishes.
DW Hemp
Mechanically pressed internal walls, ceiling panels, insulation and acoustic products manufactured from reusable moulds and repeatable processes.
DW Interior
Kitchens, benchtops, vanities, storage, doors, screens and furniture—compatible with the platform but free to express local character.
DW Services
Energy, water, ventilation, electrical and environmental systems designed for efficient connection, maintenance and future replacement.
A pathway into production
From capability to manufacturer.
Many businesses already possess the practical ability to manufacture. What they lack is a defined product, tooling, technical pathway and access to shared demand.
01. Capability
Tell us what you make, where you operate and what equipment, materials and skills you have.
02. Opportunity
Identify an existing component family—or propose a better compatible solution.
03. Package
Access the drawings, interfaces, moulds, jigs, specifications or training required for that product.
04. Verification
Prototype, test, certify and establish the quality controls appropriate to the component risk.
05. Production
Join the network as an approved manufacturer supplying local, regional or broader demand.
A place for different scales
Industry is not divided into winners and losers.
Established manufacturers
Bring scale, advanced equipment, quality systems, research capability and distribution. Diamond Weave can provide new product families and access to a new housing market.
Precast and advanced materials
Steel, mould and tooling manufacture
Bathrooms and building services
National production and logistics
Small and emerging manufacturers
Bring specialist knowledge, adaptability, local materials and regional relationships. Diamond Weave can provide a repeatable product and a genuine pathway into architectural manufacturing.
Hemp and bio-based components
