Diamond Weave is being developed around another possibility: move the means of production, not merely the finished building.
Precision moulds, digital engineering and manufacturing knowledge could and will be deployed to regional locations allowing structural components to be produced closer to the communities that need them most.
Local manufacturers, builders, trades and material suppliers will then complete permanent homes suited to local climate, culture and ways of living.
Production capacity established for everyday housing will also be redirected when disaster strikes.
Helping communities move beyond emergency accommodation and begin rebuilding sooner.
The objective is not to deliver a temporary shelter that will later be discarded.
